Another Christmas gift!

This is the first page from Samuel’s 1898 Diary. The text says, “A Christmas present from Charley and Flo.”

 

There was a separate card in the diary booklet. On that card was written:

“For Papa,
With wishes that he shall have nothing but good news and happiness to write in it in the new year.

Charlie and Flo”
